Examinations last Fall
Congratulations to Dancers Lauri MacEachern, Alison Murray, Catherine Brown and Lillian Wheeler; your medals, trophies and certificates from the Examination taken in December in Stouffville will be presented today. Way to go!
The Ceilidh

Please check the lost and found items for anything you may have left in Alymer on March 4th.
There are still one or two silent auction items waiting to be picked up.
Items not bidden on at the silent auction will be saved and used as gifts at Examination time or as door prizes at the recital.
There will be a wrap-up meeting at 12:15 in the board room. Please let Katharine know if you cannot attend and give her your written notes, comments, suggestions, etc. so that they may be kept in the file - to produce an even better ceilidl next time.

Classes over Easter
There will be regular classes on Easter Saturday, April 15th. If you are going to be away, please notify you Teacher and arange for makup classes.
Scotland Trip 2006
There was a very successful meeting last week about the trip to Scotland. thanks Tracey for running this meeting. Please check all the details in the information you received re deadline dates for payments etc. The next meeting will be March 25 at 12: 15p.m. in the Boardroom
Examinations
Please check the Exams Page for detailed info. - The examiner will be Joseph Wallin of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
- Piper will be Beth Bisaillion
- Examinations will be on Friday April 21 from noon to 12 noon to 6:00pm and Saturday April 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Sandy Hill Community Centre.
- There will be a very important Parents talk today, to discuss examinations, extra lessons and the re-organization of some classes which will begin next week.
- On the Examination table you will find the EXAMINATION MASTER LIST (first draft). Dancers are listed by class, with the subject, costs (entry fees, Piper and Hall) and a $ total.
- Each dancer will receive today a covering letter - examination letter #1 - with his/her individual proposed examination list and costs.
- Please check all the details carefully - especially spelling of the Dancer's name so that mistakes are not made on the certificates!
- Please make changes on the the Master List, after consulting Katharine or your teacher.
- Rehearsals will be on Sundays, March 26th and April 2nd and 9th at SHCC.
- You were given the exam Rehersal Schedule last week - please check exams page for changes. - Changes/updates for April 2nd and 9th will be posted next week.
