NEED AN ABA/VB THERAPIST?
ASD Therapist Trainers Inc. offers access to therapists who have received a minimum of introductory training in ABA/VB. These therapists are available for hire on a contract basis to existing in home ABA/VB programs.
Therapists with ASD Therapist Trainers Inc. have:
- Passed an initial interview conducted by ASD Therapist Trainers Inc..
- Attended a hands on training session (which covers behaviour management, effective teaching procedures and more).
- Previous experience with children and or children with special needs.
- Completed or are in the process of completing post secondary education.
- Their own transportation.
- Availability for full or part time positions.
For an Initial Fee of $50:
- Access of previously interviewed therapists. ASD Therapist Trainers Inc. will specifically match 1 to 2 therapists based on parent needs.
- Therapists will have attended an initial training session (of no cost to parents)
- Receive performance reviews for the therapist(s) hired for no additional charge (@ 6 months or 1 year etc.).
Easy to use Step by Step instructions:
- Contact ASD Therapist Trainers Inc.
- ASD Therapist Trainers Inc. will send a starter package including a) a detailed service agreement and b) a Parental Preference Document (which parents will fill out to specify details as to what they are looking for in a therapist.) If at any time a meeting between
ASD Therapist Trainers Inc. and the parents would be helpful, this can be arranged.
- Based on parental feedback, ASD Therapist Trainers Inc. will choose 1 to 2 therapists to best suit your needs. The contact information and resumes of these therapists will be forwarded on to parents.
- Parents will contact and interview therapists to determine an appropriate match for their team.
- Once a therapist is hired, ASD Therapist Trainers Inc. will set up a contract with the parents contracting out the services of the therapist. Parents also have the option to set up therapist training sessions conducted by ASD Therapist Trainers Inc.
