Our Mission
We are dedicated to providing quality, hands-on therapist training to existing supervised and parent-run ABA/VB programs in Ottawa and the surrounding regions.
ASD Therapist Trainers Inc. work in collaboration with a variety of professionals to help support a well run and effective ABA program for your child.
Adequate Therapist Training will help lead to:
- A more effective ABA/VB program
- More consistent progress for your child
- A reduction in therapist turn over
ASD Therapist Trainers Inc. can offer:
- Access to a list of therapists, available for hire on a contract basis, who have received a minimum of introductory training in ABA/VB
- Therapist Observations, Video Reviews, and Therapist Evaluations
- Available respite workers through our website
- Program organization (basic program set-up/ maintenance etc.)
Theresa Martinez, B.A Psych., founder of ASD Therapist Trainers Inc., has been working in the ABA/VB field for over 5 years as a Senior Therapist and
Lead Therapist. She has extensive workshop training and has excellent knowledge of the effective teaching procedures widely used in Verbal Behaviour Programs.
Theresa has had the opportunity to provide ongoing clinical training and supervision to a wide range of therapists working with children of a variety of ages and
profiles. She also has experience developing and delivering comprehensive training programs/ workshops to beginning and advanced ABA/DTT therapists and parents.
In addition, Theresa is dedicated to ongoing professional development and keeping her knowledge in the field current by attending numerous workshops each year.
